Mr. Bloomstein’s practice is concentrated on the defense of complex medical malpractice matters from the commencement of the lawsuit up through and including trial.
Within the area of medical malpractice defense, Mr. Bloomstein currently represents several major hospitals and individual physicians in the New York area in cases involving a variety of complex medical issues leading to claimed catastrophic injuries, including: claimed obstetrical and gynecological mismanagement; the alleged failure to diagnose breast cancer, melanoma and other malignancies; claimed general, vascular and orthopedic negligence; claimed substandard emergency room care; and the alleged misinterpretation of radiologic studies and lab results.
Mr. Bloomstein graduated from Rutgers College and earned his law degree from Pace University School of Law, where he graduated with honors, served as an editor of the law review and was a moot court finalist. He is admitted to practice in the state courts of New York and New Jersey, as well as within the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and for New Jersey. He has been a Partner with the firm since 2002 and currently serves as a member of the firm's Executive Committee.
Mr. Bloomstein also serves as a trustee of the Half Hollow Hills Community Library.
