Alexis M. Vigilante, Associate

Alexis M. Vigilante is an associate attorney at Aaronson Rappaport Feinstein & Deutsch, where she focuses on the area of medical malpractice defense. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, she practiced medical malpractice defense at another New York-based law firm. She began her career as a general litigation attorney. Ms. Vigilante graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Law & Paralegal Studies from The City University of New York, NYC College of Technology in 2006, and received her Juris Doctorate from Hofstra University School of Law in 2011. Prior to and throughout law school, Ms. Vigilante was a paralegal for a general litigation firm. During law school, she also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Jack M. Battaglia of the New York State Supreme Court, Kings County. Additionally, she interned at Hofstra University’s Child Advocacy Clinic, where she represented youth in special immigrant juvenile matters and child maltreatment cases, as well as in custody and delinquency-related issues. Ms. Vigilante is admitted to practice law in the states of New York and New Jersey, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She is an active member of the Brooklyn Bar Association, the Brooklyn Barrister Editorial Board, the Columbian Lawyers Association, and the Richmond County Bar Association, and in 2014 was recognized by Super Lawyers as a New York Metro “Rising Star” in the area of medical malpractice defense.
