Alyssa W. Mendoza, Associate

Alyssa Mendoza graduated from New York University with a B.A. in Legal Theory and Social Inequality. She earned her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law where she participated in the Moot Court Program and received the Best Brief Award at the William Hughes Mulligan Memorial Moot Court Competition.

Following law school, Alyssa worked as an Assistant District Attorney at the Queens County District Attorney’s Office in the Career Criminal Major Crimes Bureau where she focused on high profile press cases, police involved shootings, vehicular homicides, and violent crime committed by career criminals facing significant mandatory sentencing. With the DA, Alyssa handled all aspects of litigation and brought a significant number of cases to verdict.

At Aaronson Rappaport,  Alyssa focuses her practice on the defense of complex medical malpractice litigation. She represents the area’s most prominent hospitals, physicians, and specialty groups.

Alyssa is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
