Kristyna Burkova, Associate

Kristyna Burkova graduated from University of Miami, School of Law, earning both J.D., and LL.M. degrees. During law school, she developed a passion for trial advocacy; she received awards for best ranking student in Legal Communication and Writing Skills classes, and successfully completed the rigorous Litigation Skills Program. During law school, Kristyna served as a research assistant to Prof. Caroline Bradley, interned at the Gang Unit at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, and worked as a as a litigation clerk at a local law firm. Outside of her legal career in the U.S., Kristyna also earned a Master of Laws degree from Masaryk University, Faculty of Law in the Czech Republic.

Prior to joining Aaronson Rappaport, Kristyna was an associate at a preeminent litigation firm in Miami, Florida where she represented plaintiffs in medical malpractice and product liability cases.

At Aaronson Rappaport, Kristyna focuses her practice on medical malpractice defense, representing New York’s most prominent hospitals and physicians.

Kristyna is licensed to practice law in the States of New York and Florida.
