Mary K. Doherty, Associate
Mary Doherty received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Thereafter, she earned her law degree from New York Law School, where she graduated magna cum laude. While at New York Law School, Ms. Doherty was a John Marshall Harlan Scholar and served as an Executive Editor of the New York Law School Law Review.
Following law school, Ms. Doherty worked as an Assistant District Attorney at the Kings County District Attorney’s office, where she handled a variety of cases from pre-indictment through sentencing. After leaving the District Attorney’s office, her practice has focused in the defense of complex medical malpractice actions. At Aaronson Rappaport, Ms. Doherty is involved in all stages of litigation, including case development, suit evaluation, legal research, motion practice and trial preparation.
Ms. Doherty is admitted to practice law in the state of New York.
