Jessica Kumar, Associate

Jessica Kumar graduated cum laude from the City University of New York at Hunter College, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English Literature. Thereafter, she earned her Juris Doctor Degree from New York Law School. During law school, she was a law clerk for a health law, real estate, and bankruptcy boutique law firm based on Long Island. Jessica was also a member of the Regulatory Advocacy Clinic in addition to serving on the Executive Boards of the Health Law Society and Legal Association for Women, as well as qualifying for the Dean’s List at NYLS.

Prior to joining Aaronson Rappaport, Jessica worked as a Claims Analyst at known insurance institutions such as AIG and Physicians’ Reciprocal Insurers (PRI) / EmPro. There, she focused on the case management of employment practice liability and medical malpractice defense actions, respectively.

At Aaronson Rappaport, Jessica’s practice focuses on medical malpractice defense litigation and general liability matters for some of New York’s most prominent hospitals, physicians, nursing homes, and public benefit corporations.

Jessica is admitted to practice law in the Courts of the State of New York.
